The Rundown: Joe and Jenny must fight their way through a series of dangerous new worlds.

After being banished by Abigail, Joe and Jenny find themselves fighting for their lives against a rampaging dinosaur. As they still have one of the devices they discovered, they use it to try to escape back to their own time and wind up in a nightmarish world filled with dangerous creatures.

Using more and more of the devices power, the pair continue to shift through time and space before winding up in what the creature that controls it calls the end of time. As it moves closer to them to make them a part of it, they use the device again and end up in another living nightmare with creatures coming for them and no way to escape.

The Story: Bunn crafts some thrilling moments throughout this issue while continuing to build an engaging, nightmarish world for the characters to navigate. I enjoyed seeing the characters shuffled from one scenario to the next and experiencing the eldritch horrors that they face. The story continues to be infinitely fascinating and fast paced in ways that keep me riveted to the characters and their circumstances.

The Art: Mutti delivers beautiful vistas and nightmarish landscapes throughout the issue and brings out all of the tension, terror and suspense of the story in the art.
